We offer you a position where you will have the opportunity to support selling a broad range of Medtronic services working closely together with our Inside Sales team for the Cranial-Spinal Technologies (CST) and Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) operating units.

Inside Sales is responsible for selling service solutions to our customers and thus improving the overall Medtronic customer experience by a technology enabled and innovative remote selling capability. You will support the development of our service business across Western Europe with focus on United Kingdom, Ireland and Nordics market. You will have the unique experience to be fully responsible for the service target in Norway and Denmark OR Sweden and Iceland.

 

A Day in the Life

  • Identification of promising sales targets using the existing reports and dashboards
  • Opportunity and contract management in our CRM tool (SFDC), including timely follow-ups with customers
  • Preparing offers for contract renewals for United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Nordics market (potentially other countries)
  • Targeting and (possibly) contacting of customers for new service opportunities
  • Preparing offers, connecting with sales rep, field service team and customer for installed big capital equipment in the field which are due for planned maintenance.
  • Supporting and development of reports and dashboards
  • Daily utilization of relevant tools for sales-related activities (Salesforce, SAP etc.)
  • Working closely together with inside sales colleagues, field sales representatives and technical consultants to deliver best in class service
  • Creating/ maintaining work instructions for the work done during internship period.

Must Haves

  • Pursuing a degree in higher education
  • Proficiency in English (fluent)
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Curiosity and readiness working on complex therapies, topics and markets
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Growth mindset, being pro-active and ability to prioritize.

 

Nice to Haves

  • Proficiency in one other European language
  • Sales-driven hands-on mentality
  • Knowledge in Health Care / Medical devices sector

 

Internship details:

  • Start date: July 2024
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Working hours: 30-40 h/week
  • Based in Netherlands (Heerlen, Maastricht or Sittard)
  • Working model: hybrid (2 days in the office)
