Principal Channel Specialist (Distributor Management)
Must Have (Minimum Requirements):
- BCom/BSc or any relevant University degree with MBA in Finance or Marketing
- Commercial knowledge in sales and distributor management
- May have broad knowledge of project management.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with a university degree, or minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree.
- Preferably from medical devices, automotive, consumer durables or FMCG industry with experience of managing large volume of business and distributors
- Good verbal communicator and presenter – Good command over English to be able to communicate with diverse teammates in SEA. Ability to communicate in the local language with the distributors is a must.
- Professional standard of written and verbal communication with distributors
- People and relationship building skills including networking skills
- Well versed with basic P & L management and accounting terms
- Commercial skills around distributor management such as inventory turnover, WC requirement, ROI etc.
- Tactical & strategic bent of mind and good analytical skills
- Financial modeling (must be very comfortable with Excel)
- Working knowledge of Ms Excel & Ms PowerPoint
- Team leadership skills, team oriented, assertive and friendly
- Skilled in influencing and partnering with others, including but not limited to Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, and Compliance
- Always demonstrates grit in achieving/ exceeding primary AOP by collaborating and inspiring channel partners, and exhibiting a presence that builds confidence in themselves and others.
- Self-Starter, high on initiative
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle and manage different distributors from different geographic region
- Ability to work in a dynamic and complex environment
