Employment Law ERISA/Benefits Counsel
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to a state bar
- 8+ years of legal experience in employee compensation and benefits area
- Experience working as an attorney in the area of executive compensation and employee benefits (ERISA) with or advising a publicly-traded company
- Understanding of executive compensation and employee benefit issues impacting complex, publicly-traded company
- LLM (in Taxation)
- Experience managing outside counsel
- Experience working in law firm setting
- Experience working in-house for a publicly traded company
- Experience working with equity awards issued to non-US employees
- Excellent technical drafting skills
- Effective and persuasive communication (verbal and written), presentation, negotiation and counseling skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize conflicting demands from multiple clients (including senior executives) in a very fast-paced environment and matrix organization
- Strong business sense and ability to be influential and establish positive working relationships across the organization, at all levels
