MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:

One year certificate from college or technical school
(machinist, engineering technology) preferred or equivalent combination of
training and experience
|
Experience:
|
4-5 years medical device manufacturing related
experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Skills/Qualifications:

Must have the ability to provide technical leadership
to personnel in the assigned area. Ability to read and interpret documents
such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Ability to write routine
correspondence. Ability to speak
effectively before groups of employees in the organization. Ability to
present information and respond to questions. Ability to add and subtract two
digit numbers and to multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers and decimals. Ability to
calculate rate and percent and interpret basic graphs. Basic Metrology
knowledge. Safety committee action items. CTQ/training: Crimp certification
and testing.

Must be proficient in the use of small hand tools and
electrical hand tools. Must be proficient
with necessary measuring equipment (Dial calipers, micrometers, gages, et.) Must be able to read blueprints and
schematics. Must have the ability to accept and work with constant change.
Must be a team player. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish
facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety
of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with
several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to make rational decisions
in the absence of supervision. |
