- Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of work experience in Marketing, Finance, or other technical area (8+ years with an Advanced degree)
- Experience in marketing, commercial leadership, strategy, finance, or consulting firm within the medical device industry
- Experience building business cases and leading strategic landscaping for portfolio businesses
- Proven track record for defining business/corporate strategy for a complex business with elegant simplicity and ability to cascade across the organization
- Experienced project manager with ability to influence regionally and cross-functionally and lead change management
- Hands-on proficiency with executive presentations in PowerPoint and financial modeling in Excel
- Strong knowledge of the global healthcare and market devices market
- Adaptability and agility to recover quickly after failure
- Strategic and analytical thinker
- Skills in financial analysis, and forecasting
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity with initiative to define and tackle complicated challenges
- Effective communication skill with ability to explain complex concepts simply to senior leadership
- Collaborative approach, familiarity with matrix organizations and how to successfully work cross-functionally
- Self-starter who takes initiative
- Interpersonal capabilities that lend themselves to working collaboratively
- Results oriented approach
- Ideally some demonstrated and meaningful project management
- Understanding of finance and valuation analytics
- Motivator for others
- Ability to interface with senior executives (including ability to define and structure problems and solutions)
