Sr Principal Field Clinical Engineer, Systems Engineering group, RTG – Pain Therapies

- Bachelor’s degree (requires a University Degree) and a minimum of 10 years of Engineering/Quality/Clinical Research/Clinical Specialist experience within the healthcare industry (e.g., medical devices, hospital, pharma, biotech or life science), or advanced degree and a minimum of 8 years of Engineering/Quality/ Clinical Research/Clinical Specialist experience within the healthcare industry (e.g., medical devices, hospital, pharma, biotech or life science)
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in Engineering (BioMed/EE/Mech), Healthcare/Life Sciences, or Clinical Research Management.
- 12+ years’ experience in clinical research, hospital, engineering or medical devices at Medtronic or within the medical device industry.
- Extensive years of experience collaborating with cross functional clinical partners, customers or sales colleagues in the health care industry.
- Experience in the management of clinical devices.
- Experience in a cath lab, biomedical engineering, hospital/clinic or medical sales.
- Neuro device training.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Project (or similar scheduling software), project management techniques and tools.
- Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for clinical trials.
- Excellent project management and organization skills.
- Ability to work with many different customers from varying backgrounds.
