Senior Category Manager, IT Sourcing
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in finance, business administration, operations, information technology, or a related field)
- IT experience negotiating with key large suppliers.
- 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, and / or category management experience (3+ years with MBA or equivalent degree); IT sourcing experience preferred
- Experience with IT categories (may include Software, Hardware, Telecommunications and IT Professional Services)
- Ability to draft and negotiate contracts
- Ability to develop category sourcing strategies
- Experience lead and conduct negotiations
- Proven demonstrated results producing cost savings/value in contracting
- Ability to and manage complex sourcing relationships
- Strong cross-functional team facilitation skills
- Proven demonstrated results producing cost savings
- Project management skills
- Ability to influence for results in a matrixed organization
- Ability to manage and influence stakeholders
- Collaborative, team player
- Strong analytical skills

- MBA a plus
