Must have: Minimun Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required
-
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Nice to haves:
-
A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Very strong VHDL or Verilog skills (VHDL preferred).
-
Experience in PL verification methods.
-
Experience in designing for ASIC, FPGA, SoC and embedded processing system designs.
-
Experience performing risk management for Programmable Logic.
-
Understand the needs involved in developing for regulated industries.
-
Have a strong understanding of development methodologies.
-
Experience in advanced verification methods as OVM/UVM.
-
Experience with motors, electro-mechanics, low level control, sensors and other physical interfaces.
-
Experience with low-level and real-time communication protocols.
-
Experience with video and vision processing.
-
Experience in firmware development (BSP / FSBL).
-
Experience in PCBA design and the ability to read schematics.
-
Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures and advanced programming techniques.
-
Experience with EDA tools (build, code coverage, static analysis, source control, etc.).
-
Good understanding of regulatory needs and standards such as IEC60601-1 and IEC62304.
-
Experience in FDA regulated product delivery.
-
Hands-on mentality.
Working Conditions:
Standard Office setting in either North Haven, CT, USA or Boston, MA, USA. Occasional travel estimated at less than 10%.
