BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME:
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Human Resources
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- 6+ years of US payroll tax and/or payroll accounting experience
- 4+ years of experience managing a team
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Payroll experience in a large corporation with multiple FEINs
- Experience with multi-state and local tax jurisdictions and requirements
- Experience leading fiscal month end close process including account reconciliation review and analysis
- Workday experience
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Knowledge of GAAP, accrual basis accounting and financial reporting
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate to get work done
- Ability to effectively lead, coach, and work in a team, as well as autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability in process improvement and strategic thinking
