Executive Search Consultant
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Lead a Consultative and Specialty-Focused In-house Executive Recruitment Program
• Key contributor to lead and deliver a “white-glove” senior-executive recruitment experience for Senior Director and VP+ positions at Medtronic’s business units and/or functional area(s).
• Manage all aspects of the executive talent acquisition lifecycle including sourcing strategy, candidate development and management, interviews and leadership assessments, offer negotiation and client management.
• Lead search strategy and search progress meetings to ain a comprehensive understanding of dedicated client group(s) and leadership profile requirements to deliver market intelligence with targeted and diverse candidate slates for calibration, define and manage a search strategy with clear deliverables, timelines, and ongoing status updates to balance pace and quality of hire, and influence hiring decisions by screening and evaluating prospective candidates for specific roles and broader company opportunities.
• Operate with a sense of urgency and provide relevant data insights, updates and creative solutions.
• Proactively develop and nurture a passive candidate pipeline and network in anticipation of future needs.
• Ensure executive search effectiveness through strong internal partnerships, collaboration, process innovation and sharing best practices.
Enable Seamless Internal and External Relationship Management
• Manage relationships with Executive Leaders, HR and Talent Management Partners for proactive identification of senior leadership talent needs to develop and drive solutions.
• Partner with Executive Sourcers to design search strategy, conduct research and leverage competitive market knowledge to attract passive, executive candidates.
• As needed, manage external search firm engagements and partnerships to ensure a seamless process and positive candidate/client experience
Candidate Experience and Process Optimization
• Advise prospective candidates throughout the talent acquisition life cycle, developing and maintaining relationships to ensure a positive experience and strong talent network
• Provide “white glove” level candidate care throughout the recruiting process, including pre-hire and on-boarding.
• Support and lead continued optimization of our VP governance process to deliver a seamless experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.
• In-house executive recruitment and retained search firm experience.
• Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition that includes executive recruiting for positions of VP+ or an advanced degree and 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition as described.
Nice to Have
• Executive stakeholder management and proven success with managing with influence.
• Extensive recruitment experience in Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs and Quality
• Industry experience in Life Sciences and Biotech; Medical Devices and Diagnostics a plus.
• Ability to develop creative sourcing strategies through including the use of technology, research, and market mapping.
• Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively influence senior management.
• Capability of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on delivering results. Strong work ethic and project management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated. Action-oriented with a strong sense of urgency. Resourceful and solutions-oriented.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy without losing track of the big picture.
• Proven track record of success recruiting executive-level and diverse talent.
• Knowledge of employment-related regulations such as EEO, AAP and OFCCP
• Experience with Taleo, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, MS Teams and CRMs.
• HR/TA/CIR Certifications
• An advanced degree and 8+ years of experience

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
