New and Emerging Areas COE Leader (Compliance Director)
Advanced degree with 8+ years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience
• Prior compliance oversight of complex systems responsibilities, as well as experience in the healthcare industry
• Prior success in effectively identifying, assessing and prioritizing complex compliance-related risks, such as through risk assessment, policies & procedures, training, monitoring, and remediation actions
• 10+ years relevant experience handling complex compliance and/or legal issues with a focus on Federal Sentencing Guidelines for Organizations, Fraud and Abuse Laws (e.g., Anti-Kickback Law), healthcare provider or medical device compliance requirements or other highly regulated fields
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, presentation, and written communication skills, particularly to senior leaders/executive audiences (“executive presence”)
• Ability to identify high risk situations and provide appropriate guidance, including the ability to make courageous and unpopular decisions
• Ability to relate to and influence people at all levels, both internal and external, with political savvy to communicate effectively with executive leaders and understand business
• Impeccable integrity
• Collaborative mindset, particularly in a matrix environment
