Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or MBA

10-15 years of accounting or finance experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; or, 8-13 years of accounting or finance experience with a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Nice to Have
-
Microsoft Office expertise, especially advanced Excel modelling experience and PowerPoint. Must include experience creating pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, NPV/IRR, and other complex functions

Accounting experience and knowledge of GAAP.

Experience partnering with senior leaders and providing leadership in managing the function and establishing its strategic direction.

Experience operating in a complex matrixed environment and interacting across levels and organizations.

Good judgment, problem solving skills, tact, and discretion in identifying and resolving issues within established guidelines.

Strong customer relations and communications skills (written and verbal). High level of diplomacy, discretion, and experience with various levels of employees

Strong controller experience, including in-depth understanding of accounting and finance principles, and effective application of internal control processes.

Experience in accounting related to capital projects and complex supplier contracts.

Experience supporting a IT function and an understanding of key IT concepts such as cloud computing, network infrastructure, data centers, security initiatives, software licensing, etc
