Finance Director

•        Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or MBA
  
• 10-15 years of accounting or finance experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; or, 8-13 years of accounting or finance experience with a Master’s degree in Accounting,   Finance or Business Administration

 
Nice to Have

• Microsoft Office expertise, especially advanced Excel modelling experience and PowerPoint. Must include experience creating pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, NPV/IRR, and other complex functions
  
• Accounting experience and knowledge of GAAP.
  
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and providing leadership in managing the function and establishing its strategic direction.
  
• Experience operating in a complex matrixed environment and interacting across levels and organizations.
  
• Good judgment, problem solving skills, tact, and discretion in identifying and resolving issues within established guidelines.
• Strong customer relations and communications skills (written and verbal). High level of diplomacy, discretion, and experience with various levels of employees
• Strong controller experience, including in-depth understanding of accounting and finance principles, and effective application of internal control processes.
• Experience in accounting related to capital projects and complex supplier contracts.
• Experience supporting a IT function and an understanding of key IT concepts such as cloud computing, network infrastructure, data centers, security initiatives, software licensing, etc
