Senior Biomed Engineer - Research and Core Technologies
Must Haves
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or Advanced degree with at least 2+years of relevant experience in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
Nice to Have
• Demonstrated domain knowledge in neuromodulation and/or neural engineering research
• Ability to interact and work in a team-based environment including collaboration across disciplines
• Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and plans
• Experience with preclinical, clinical, benchtop, or computational research in neuroscience, neuromodulation, or neural engineering or equivalent
• Strong desire to understand issues related to and work to restore health in the Neuromodulation field
• Knowledge of central and peripheral nervous system’s anatomy and physiology
• Experience with computing and data analysis environments (e.g. MATLAB) and/or programming languages (e.g. C++,Python)
• Experience in hypothesis-driven research study design, management, and execution
• Excellent problem-solving skills and able to work on various levels of the problem
