Sr Software Engineer: Tools - Surgical Robotics
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Strong coding skills in C/C++ (including object-oriented techniques) required
- Experience in Linux and Windows application programming and scripting.
- Strong coding skills in Python
- Experience with QNX operating system
- Embedded programming experience, particularly Zynq, STM32F303, dsPIC33EP
- Background in robotics, controls or sensors strongly preferred
- Basic understanding of standard OS features (e.g. threading and concurrency, memory management, device drivers, I/O, etc.) is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems such as QNX is a plus
- RTI DDS and other common networking protocols
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes
Working Conditions:
Work-from-Home and Standard Office setting in Boston, MA. Some limited travel may be required.
