Sr. Principal Systems Engineer
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Software, or Electrical preferred)
- 10+ years of software/firmware or systems development experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience with software and embedded systems design
- Experience as a Software Architect, defining software architecture for modular complex systems
- Experience working with Human Factors and System Engineering to create detailed SW design specifications and reports
- Experience leading and managing software teams, including contract development partners
- Experience with security and privacy regulations and solutions
- Experience with software design, such as Windows OS, C# and .NET design and development, and TCP/IP and CAN bus communication
- Experience in medical device product development
- Specific knowledge of international medical device standards
- Experience with cardiac ablation products
- Experience with IT systems and infrastructure, particularly for hospitals and healthcare
- Ability to mentor and review the work of less experienced engineers
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including application of structured problem solving methods and tools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely summarize complex technical concepts and problems
- Ability to work in a multi-site team environment; strong collaboration skills
