EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Deep knowledge and expertise of distribution and warehousing concepts, 3PL engagement best-practices, DC/ 3PL performance management, solution design and ‘should-cost model’. Experience in developing requirements supporting RFP process and selection of logistics service providers. Prior experience in selecting and implementing warehousing automation and robotics is a must.
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year College or university, MBA is a plus and a minimum of ten (10) years relevant Distribution (warehousing) and supply chain experience. A significant amount of experience in change management driving global operational excellence.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
- Broad background and experience in Warehousing and Distribution (preferably medical devices). In depth understanding of operations administration functions including finance, IT, quality, and regulatory, among others.
