Sr. Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist
Do you have these experiences or skills?
• 5-7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Environmental reports such as Tier II, GPLPE, Biennial Hazardous Waste, DMR’s, TRI, energy metrics, environmental metrics, UST requirements, environmental permit renewals, MISC GP, Air Emissions Calculations and other permit required reporting and documentation. Hazardous and non-hazardous waste management. Emergency planning and spill response. RCRA, DOT, IATA and HAZWOPER.
• Knowledge of monitoring equipment such as air quality monitoring equipment.
• Knowledge of computer, office, and audio visual equipment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements mandated by OSHA, EPA and other regulatory bodies
• Knowledge of environmental, safety, health regulations and familiarity with wellness programs.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to coach, lead and train.
• Ability to develop and make presentations to others.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective organizational skills.
Do you have these professional or academic certifications?
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety/Industrial Hygiene Engineering or equivalent.
CHMM, Master’s Degree, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) desired.
