Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Nice to Have
• 4+ years of experience in social media
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to follow through. Keen attention to detail
• Expert knowledge of social media platforms and audiences
• Dedicated process for staying up-to-date on industry trends
• Experience in digital content creation, social channel management and social listening
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Passion for social media, mobile and digital and social media trends
• Possess a solid understanding of Public Relations fundamentals
• Collaborative mindset and work style
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate understanding of digital development processes and / or experience with basic web publishing tools such as WordPress
• Understanding of web analytics, social listening tools and social communications platforms
• Self-starter with ability to complete assignments within tight deadlines.
• Bachelors' Degree required, preferably in business or marketing; Masters a plus
• Have a strong editorial sense and contribute to writing and editing digital media content across multiple platforms utilizing Medtronic Style Guide and the AP Manual of Style;
• Strong writing skills, ability to shoot and edit photographs and basic video, prefer experience in journalism or multimedia. Prefer proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs, especially AEM, Social and Photoshop.
• Consistently maintain and report out on stats, analyzing the effectiveness of their work;
• Stay abreast of the latest digital media trends, with an eye toward adopting best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Good verbal communicator and presenter
• Professional presentation and "Presence"
• Can work autonomously but is also a team player
• Self motivated and positive
• Outgoing and friendly: Enthusiastic, energetic
• “Can do” attitude
• Ability to quickly establish credibility with all levels of customer base
• Good time manager: Well organized, able to set and reset priorities
