- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors in Materials Science or similar with minimum 5 years of experience
- Experience with XPS, SEM, EDS, FTIR, and optical microscopy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience documenting testing in laboratory notebooks
- Ability prioritize and execute on daily tasks
- Ability to work and be effective with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills that are results oriented
- Strong ability to understand mathematical concepts related to laboratory data interpretation
- Microsoft Word & Excel proficiency
Nice to Have
- Masters or PhD in Materials Science or similar with 2+ years of experience
- Hands on working use of focused ion beam (FIB), white light interferometer, X-ray fluorescence, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Nano-mechanical testing.
- Experience with regulated quality systems
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software
- An understanding of cGMP, FDA and ISO requirements
