Sr Buyer Planner
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
• Four-year college degree with minimum five years’ direct experience.
• Strong understanding of materials management and purchasing.
• Use of a computerized MRP system in performing purchasing and production planning functions.
• Experience in use of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.
• Experienced in negotiations- can lead negotiation individually or as a team leader.
• Experience in establishing cost effective supplier partnerships.
Nice to Have
• APICS Certification preferred: CPM, CPIM, CPSM
• Orthopedic industry experience
• Experience with SAP
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written • Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude • Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships. • Willingness to participate in continuous improvement activities
