Software Test Engineer II - Surgical Robotics
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with no industry relevant experience.
Nice to Have
- Mid-level of proficient use of modeling & simulation software (MATLAB/Simulink strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with multi-body kinematics and dynamics.
- Familiarity with position, velocity, and torque feedback controllers.
- Experience with real-time software on microprocessor-based systems and developing software in a Linux environment (Ubuntu preferred).
- Medical product development experience including hands-on experience with medical/surgical devices/instruments; familiarity with medical device regulations including IEC 62304.
- Experience with a big company with matrix structures, having already worked with cross functional teams using Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies.
- Familiarity with scripting language, preferably Python for generation of automated tests.
- Experience SDLC process and tools including JIRA, Git, JAMA, Bitbucket (Stash) and Bamboo
- Ability to work with QA to ensure testing meets Quality and Regulatory needs.
- Ability to manage, track and upgrade multiple hardware and software configurations.
- Ability to work with Systems, Mechanical, Electrical and Software engineers when discovering, documenting, and resolving integration issues.
