Must have: Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree in the related field.
Nice to have:
As an ideal candidate, you will have any or all the following experience:
Experience in developing and commercializing embedded software products in the fast-paced R&D environment, deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices in the medical device industry, experience in providing post product support. Experience in Agile/Scrum/SAFe software development in medical device industry.

Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets using C or C++.

Experience in embedded software development in medical device industry.

Experience in the test-driven development methodology and unit test.

Minimum of a BS in a technical discipline, preferably software related: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering. Master’s degree in related discipline preferred.

2+ years’ experience in software development with custom microprocessor electronics such as BLDC motor drives and common microprocess communication protocols.

Experience with software development interfaces to FPGA based program logic is a plus

Solid understanding and appreciation of SDLC process and tools (JIRA, Git, JAMA, etc.)

Experience in a regulated industry (medical device or avionics) is preferred.

Experience or basic understanding of surgical robotics is a plus.

Experience working with the global/multi-development sites environment is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Work-from-Home and Standard Office setting in North Haven, CT or Boston, MA. Some limited travel may be required.
