REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- High School Diploma

- Customer Service experience

- Knowledge of surgical and medical equipment and terminology
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions & procedures.
- Knowledge of Sterile Processing equipment
- Mathematical aptitude
- Technical aptitude
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Detail oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills (team work)
- Displays initiative
- Strong coordination ability
- Able to perform repetitive tasks in a stressful environment
- Sound computer skills
- WHMIS training
- Works well in a fast paced changing priority environment
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

Bilingual: English/French (requirement in Québec)
- Completed Sterile Supply Processing Technician course
JOB EXPERIENCE
- Some experience in sterile supply processing.
- Warehouse / distribution experience
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of JD Edwards and SAP
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Physically capable of some heavy lifting (50+ lbs.)
- No Issues with VDT screens
- Some travel requirements for training with Business Units
