Senior Systems Engineer
Must Have: Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or technically related
- 4+ years of relevant experience, or 2 years with advanced degree
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of combined hardware, software system architecture, demonstrated by either coursework or work in industry
- Experience describing systems requirements, requirement tracing to subsystems and interface requirements
- Experience developing Verification and Validation strategy
- Experience performing Verification and Validation testing
- Demonstrated ability for independent work Experience with systems engineering principles, including requirement analysis and allocation, architecture, verification, and validation
- Demonstrated domain knowledge and understands applications to assigned projects.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement by studying and applying technical advances in area of expertise
- Excellent verbal and writing skills, including presenting
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others on cross-functional teams
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Understanding of system architecture for products involving hardware, software, communication and mechanical components
- Experience with Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure products
- Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma or related product development processes
