Senior Software Engineer- Test
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or technically related
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Specialized Knowledge Required:
- Strong knowledge of software design, development, debug and test practices
- Hands-on experience with ‘Big Data’ technologies like Kafka, Elastic, and Hortonworks
- Programming/testing expertise – Including Python, Flask, or similar language
- Experience with REST APIs (Swagger is a bonus)
Nice to Have:
- TensorFlow, TFX, pytorch, mlflow, AWS SageMaker and related technologies
- Experience with NOSQL databases (HBase preferred)
- Experience with version control systems with Git such as BitBucket or Azure DevOps
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, DataDog, etc.
- Working knowledge of securing cloud apps- use of AWS security controls (KMS, guard duty, API GW, etc) – may include threat modeling, general vulnerability management within consumed 3rd party components, static code analysis experience, Stretch (previous pen testing experience), use of and familiarity with OpenIDConnect/OAuth2
- Ability to work on cross-functional project teams comprised of software verification and development engineers, system engineers, human factor engineers and quality engineers.
- Ability to test, analyze, and solve technical problems.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Design/test experience working with regulated medical devices.
- Experience working within a regulated environment.
- Experience with software version control tools.
- Quality focus, willingness to learn, versatility and adaptability.
