Senior Software Engineer - Surgical Robotics
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent degree and 7+ years of professional work experience in software development. Advanced degree preferred.
- Strong design and architecture skills.
- Experience working in an Agile development with continuous integration solutions, such as Atlassian suite, CI/CD, and Git.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build consensus and establish common goals.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in C++11 (or newer), Object-Oriented Design and Analysis, with use of UML strongly preferred.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux and shell scripting strongly preferred.
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit test automation strongly preferred.
- Experience with multi-threaded, distributed real-time software development.
- Proficiency in Python is strongly preferred.
- Cybersecurity experience is a plus.
- Experience with data engineering is a plus.
- Experience performing risk management analysis of software (e.g. SW FMEA).
- Strong understanding of 62304 and regulated well defined SDLC.
- Experience with FDA regulated software delivery.
- Familiarity with RTI DDS and other common networking protocols.
