- Good understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and electrophysiology especially related to arrhythmias.
- General knowledge of gross pathology examination and histopathology sample preparation
- Good writing and communication skills
- Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Competence in database and statistical software an asset
- Working knowledge of GLP or other applicable regulatory requirements for conducting experiments.
- 3-5 years of relevant scientific/animal experimental experience
- Problem solving ability: Able to discuss animal protocol related issues and advice on best course to attain protocol and company objectives. Understand and solve technical design challenges as they relate to pre-clinical work. Work with multifunctional teams in solving problems.
- Ability to build relationships and work on cross functional teams including external research partners.
Nice to Have:
The ideal candidate has worked in the device or pharmaceutical industry in research, technology, product development or clinical roles. The candidate has worked in a GMP/GLP environment, has strong organizational skills and strong ability to build and manage internal, supplier and research partner relationships
