Senior R-D Engineer
Must Have: Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of product design and development experience
- Six Sigma (DFSS) or APQP experience
- Problem Solving Skills – Shainin, DFSS, optimization, etc
- Proficient in Pro E CAD software
- Modeling – Creo Basic
- Assembling – Creo Assembly
- Mechanism Analysis – Creo Mechanism, ANSYS
- Finite Element Analysis – Creo Simulate, ANSYS, LS-Dyna
- Tolerancing - CETOL, RSS, Monte Carlo simulations
- Mathcad
- Extensive experience working with Windchill PDMLink
- Knowledge of and application of drafting practices, GD&T, ASME drawing standards
- Demonstrated understanding of typical plastics and metals manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Working knowledge of Minitab
- Office – Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, Project
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Strong preference for technical writing experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
- Interested in and able to grow within the organization
- Ability to work in a team environment and interface effectively with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships within and outside of the organization
