Senior Principal Network Technologist
MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Ability to travel up to 15%
NICE TO HAVE
• Industry-recognized networking certifications
• Requires mastery level knowledge of specialty area and working knowledge of several other areas, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
• 10+ years’ experience working in an IT or carrier operational environment
• 10+ Experience with configuration and management of routers and switches
• 10+ years implementing and troubleshooting VPN's, firewalls, and wireless technologies
• Well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multi-protocol routers, multi-layer switches, wireless, network security devices and network management systems
• Experience of WAN acceleration technologies, network security tools and processes
• Knowledge and experience in the following technology tool sets:
• Basic understanding of VMWareo Redhat v6.5 and v7.0
o Cisco Switch and Router IOS Support, ASA Firewall
o Dell and Cisco UCS servers
o VPN 3020s
o Cisco Radius servers
o Juniper SA4500 and SA2500
o f5 Load Balancing v11.0 and greater including ASM (Web application firewall module)
o Riverbed vShark technology and TCPDump
o DHCP and DNS
