Senior IT Data Engineer - Data & Analytics

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of proven work experience as a Data Engineer (cloud preferred).
• Fluent in English level.
• Experience building and optimizing data platforms and pipelines using cloud-based data platforms. 
• Proven experience building data transformation and data curation processes, including data-quality validation.
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with SQL-based relational databases, advanced query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong analysis skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets.
• A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
• Good team player with strong organizational skills.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift
• Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages for building data transformation and data quality testing: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• You like to experiment with new technologies and share your knowledge with others in inspiring presentations.
• You are proactive and keep a constant communication with the team members and the business partners.
• You have experience with CI/CD tooling: Azure DevOps, Git
• You have Experience with Test Automation.

Nice to Have

• Snowflake work experience is a plus.
• Experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka is a big plus.
• Experience in Healthcare or Medical Devices industries is a big plus.
• Experience using Informatica Cloud and/or Informatica Power Center for building data pipelines is also a plus.
