- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
- Cross-functional project team experience.
- Management experience in a regulated industry
- Proven ability in influencing cross functional peer colleagues
- Experienced in working with large, multi-site, matrix organizations.
- Experience with Design, Reliability, and Manufacturability (DRM) methodology or an equivalent
- Proven track record of developing engineering solutions for complex problems
- Strong systems engineering skills
- Competent in software development processes including design methodologies, requirements development, source code management, build management, quality process, requirements-driven development, and the defect tracking and resolution process.
- Product security experience
- Experience with internal and outsourced projects
- Experience and working knowledge of FDA regulations/ISO standards for medical devices
- Understanding of the software development life cycle, IEC 62304, and IEC 60601-1
- Track record of developing and implementing broad improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written
