A Day in the Life
As a R&D Engineer II of the MEIC, you will collaborate with the product development teams globally. You will be working with Surgical Instrument CoE group wherein you will be involving on Design, CAD Robust Modelling , Drawings with strong GD&T application, Tolerance Stack up analysis, Test Fixtures Design , Prototype Building and applying your knowledge on medical devices/products.

As a result, we need a R-D Engineer II who will ensure we deliver the best on-time with high quality for our products.
· R&D Engineer II should have the very good knowledge on product development process and cross-functional aspects.
· Should be able to prepare 2D drawings per ASME Standards with sound knowledge on GD&T
· Should create 3D CAD Models using Creo either from scratch or able to edit the complex models
· Should create 1D and 2D Tolerance Stack up analysis and ability to consider GD&T as well
· Should be able to understand design problems and bring up optimal workable solution
· Must be having to communicate outstandingly with our US team
· Must be able to efficiently collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
· Should be able to use windchill PDM link to manage CAD Data flawlessly
· Ability to support the Product Development Team with application of design engineering to new product design.
· Should have an extraordinary communication in terms of articulating and writing.
Must-Have :
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 7 years of relavent experience.
· Hands on CAD systems such as Creo – expert level (Drafting & Modelling) as well as data management systems such as Windchill , Creo Simuation and Creo Mechanism.
· Very good verbal communications to interact with global partners .
· Knowledge in Concept Development, Prototyping and Benchmark Testing
· Well verse with GD&T and tolerance stack up analysis
Nice to Have :
· Medical Device Experience
· Master Degree
· GD&T Certification
· Cetol
· ANSYS or any equivalent Prediction Software
