Must Haves
• Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience OR Advanced Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
• Advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience
• Demonstrated domain knowledge in neuromodulation and/or neural engineering research
• Experience with preclinical, clinical, or computational hypothesis-driven research study design, management and execution in neuroscience, neuromodulation, or neural engineering or equivalent
• Ability to interact and work in a team-based environment including collaboration across disciplines
• Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and plans
• Expertise of central and/or peripheral nervous system’s anatomy and physiology
• Experience with data processing and analyzing large and diverse data sets, including working with computing and data analysis environments (e.g. Matlab) and/or programming languages (e.g., C++, Python)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and able to work on various levels of the problem
• Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing for access to operating rooms, included up-to-date vaccinations
• Ability to travel locally and domestically within US up to 25% of the time
