Principal Quality Engineer
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Engineering or Scientific discipline and 8+ years of technical engineering experience
• Experience generating technical documentation such as product requirements, specifications, engineering reports, test plans & procedures, validation plans, or validation reports
• Experience in quality engineering for new product development in a regulated industry such as medical device, defense, aerospace or automotive
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Advanced degree in Engineering or Scientific discipline
• Experience with systems engineering principles, including requirement analysis and allocation, architecture, verification, and validation
• Experience with system architecture, analysis, and design, including design partitioning, interface specification, and requirement allocation
• Provide leadership and execution as needed for maintenance of requirements management systems, tools, processes and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficient knowledge and application of various statistical tools, tests and analyses.
• Solid understanding of EN ISO 14971:2012
• Experience with Requirements Management Software such as Polarion or DOORS
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Ability to apply ingenuity, creativity and mastery of in-depth knowledge to a broad range of situations and requirements for complex products and systems
• Experience working on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
• Successful experience thriving in a cross functional or matrix team environment
• Support or lead cross functional teams, both internal or external, and directly contribute to their success by accomplishing short or long-term objectives
