A Day in the Life

As a Senior FEA Engineer of the MEIC, you will collaborate with the Product Development  & engineering teams globally. You will be working as a part of a team to design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during research and/or product development. 

• Senior FEA Engineer should have very good knowledge on product development process.
• Should to be capable of working as an individual contributor to deliver on specific work packages while working with the departmental FEA team for collective knowledge sharing and development.
• Should have good working knowledge of Modeling & Simulation sofware such as ANSYS, Hypermesh etc.
• Should have a good understanding  of CAD Modeling & Detailing Standards ( as per ASME)
• Should have a good understanding of prototype development and testing standards ( as per ASTM) 
• Should have good experience and strong knowledge of materials (metals, plastics, composites) along manufacturing process knowledge. 
• The candidate shall be able to use computational modelling to provide technical understanding for concept down select, design optimisation and design failure analyses. 
• The candidate shall be responsible for recommending enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems based on computational data. Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills. 
• The candidate must be able to communicate well with cross-functional team members, be able to efficiently collaborate with team members to achieve project goals, and contribute positively to the engineering community.
