Principal Mechanical Design Engineer
Must Haves
- Expertise with proven design experience designing mechanical and electromechanical systems, including supporting the design through manufacturing and production launch processes
- Experience with a solid modeling design package
- Experience designing injection molded parts, sheet metal parts, and standard machining processes
- Experience with interconnect methods- discrete cables or flex circuits
- Experience in defining mechanical and electromechanical designs and interfaces driven by test and simulation analysis and results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Haves
- Experience in medical devices, avionics, defense or other regulated business
- Experience with Altium Designer
- Knowledge of relevant Medical Device development processes and standards
- Creo or Solid Works experience
- Exposure to Labview, Arduino or similar software packages a plus
- 2-3 Days in the office per week
