As an Embedded Software Test Engineer working on our operating room embedded systems, you’ll be helping to develop high-performance and high-reliability devices to assist surgery. We’re looking for someone who cares about quality, with experience working with embedded devices to identify and recreate issues, to help make a successful product.
A Day in the Life
- Work closely with our highly technically diverse multidisciplinary teams (application software, embedded, computer vision, cloud platform, etc.).
- Work as part of the team to define and implement test scenarios for Embedded Software modules for medical and non-medical Embedded devices and execute them.
- Generate Automated test cases and test plans.
- Execute manual and automated tests on new software releases.
- Work closely with Hardware Team to identify and triage Hardware-Software Integration issues.
- Help the team identify and recreate challenging environments for their testing to improve the quality of the system.
Must Haves
- Experience working with and developing manual and automation tests for embedded devices
- Good python and bash skills
- Experience with Linux
- Understanding the Embedded hardware design
- Capability to work with the team to troubleshoot issues across the hardware/software stack and ensure the highest level of quality possible
- Thorough and with an attention to detail
- Willingness to be on-site (minimum 2 days/week in London office)
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Experience with video technologies (encoders, video processing frameworks, etc)
- Experience with wireless communication solutions
- Experience troubleshooting hardware systems
