Principal Materials Engineer - AME Extrusion
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technical Sciences required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or completion of an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Requires mastery of a specialty area (Extrusion) and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have broad knowledge of project management
Nice to Have:
- Degree in Engineering. Strong preference for Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics or Polymer Science.
- Master’s degree helpful.
- Extrusion experience.
- Internship and/or Co-op experience while in college.
- Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering experience is helpful.
- Knowledge of injection molding and knowledge of injection molded tool design for thermoplastics.
- Demonstrated computer skills such as Solidworks, Moldflow Analysis, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Statistics.
- Process Engineering experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or other Regulated Industry.
- Working knowledge of Design of Experiments and familiarity with Statistical software such as Minitab.
- Familiarity with Insert injection molding and vertical injection molding systems.
- Experience in process and equipment validation.
