Principal Development (R&D) Engineer - Neurovascular Stents
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or related technical field
- 7+ years of experience with Bachelors Degree OR 5+ years of experience with an Advanced Degree
Nice to Have
• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 6+ years of computational (FEA) modeling experience (preferably with Abaqus) applied to intravascular device implants such as stents, stent-grafts or heart-valves
• Understanding of clinical and regulatory pathways, IP and internal processes
• Expertise with variety of metals used for vascular implants including nitinol and cobalt-chromium alloys, including knowledge of related manufacturing processes and bench-tests
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative in keeping current with technology developments in area of computational modeling
• Ability to effectively communicate and work cooperatively with others as a lead member of a team.
• Demonstrated experience sharing information, status, needs, and issues with others in order to inform, gain input, and support decision-making.
• Experience with neurovascular products and landscape
• In-depth knowledge of neurovascular anatomy
