Principal Consultant: Integrated Health Solutions

Must Have: Minimum Requirements 

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

·        Master’s degree in relevant functional area

·        Excellent in English and Africans (depending on location), other language skills are a plus

JOB EXPERIENCE

·        5-10+ years as consultant from a top tier consulting firm or high end healthcare consulting firm (at least senior manager level)

·        Extensive experience in the healthcare environment and in dealing with hospitals’ C-suite/Sr. Management/stakeholders

·        Strong and demonstrable program management skills: planning & coordinating, communicating & influencing, relationship building, achieving milestones, resolving issues and managing risks

·        Strong people management / coaching and mentoring skills to manage and develop talented teams

·        Demonstrated ability to operate from idea generation, strategy development through detailed implementation and results delivery

·        Experience of how to work and communicate in international environments preferably in Matrix

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

·        Excellent generic consulting skills especially problem solving

·        Strong program management and change management skills

·        Distinctive people and team management skills with a strong team development and coaching ethos

·        Strong ability to develop and foster business relationships with continuously changing stakeholders and confidence to build trust based relationships with CEO’s

·        Thorough knowledge of the decision making process within hospitals (physicians, C-suite, economic buyers)

·        Strong business acumen / linking pin to commercial business development

Travel 

·        Willingness to travel within region and within Africa/ South Africa (up to 60%)
