- MSc or PhD in a STEM subject.
- Broad statistical knowledge including familiarity with Frequentist and Bayesian approaches.
- A demonstrated ability for developing innovative experimentation and analysis methods to infer insights from complex sets of data.
- Experience using Tableau or a similar BI tool for data visualisation and reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL.
- Practical object-oriented programming experience in Python with knowledge of relevant packages including Pandas, Numpy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels.
- Experience in writing clean and maintainable code for collaborative working and using code versioning tools.
- Excellent communicator - You are comfortable talking with programmers, marketers, surgeons, business leaders, and everyone in-between.
Nice to Have
- Experience leading a team of data analysts.
- Experience working with tools used to handle big data.
- Experience working with clinical data sets.
- Knowledge of data compliance including GDPR, HIPAA and SOC2 compliance policies.
