IT Developer - AWS
As a IT Developer of Integration Services team and working for Global IT, you would work on integration support, configuration, interface operations monitoring and support, troubleshooting and bug-fixing, documentation, code migration and deployment, and production environment monitoring and support activities. A Day in the Life
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED: -

Responsible for integrations operations monitoring and support on AWS platform in production environment

Support or Development experience of AWS components and services including Transfer Service, OpenSearch, Lambda, EC2, S3, Load Balancer, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, IAM and Bucket policies, CORS, Step Functions, CloudWatch & CloudTrail, Event Bridge, Aurora Serverless

Support for Python programming modules, related IDEs and serverless technologies

Interact with cloud applications using REST API using OAuth 2 authentication (Both as provider and consumer)

SFTP pull/push with key based login
-
PGP key based data encryption and decryption
-
Auto archive/purge and clean up data routine
-
Parse JSON/XML messages
-
Perform structure/value transformation and data mapping
-
Create flat file with data in JSON or custom CSV format
-
Monitor OpenSearch health status and manage cluster health, indexes with automatic rollover policies.

Create OpenSearch identities in Azure AD app and configure security roles/policies in OpenSearch to grant limited access to dashboard.

Securely maintain and manage connectivity & configurable parameters, systems credentials and keys that would be used for system connections / integrations.

Configure, control, secure and monitor access to S3, Transfer service, Lambda functions within VPC / subnet

AWS Aurora MySQL DB support for interface data store, CMF and interface data transformation
-
AWS Batch service including CLI commands/script on EC2 instance, EFS, and trigger/event bridge configuration
-
Maintain and update access to AWS Transfer family to independent users / SSO using external IDP like Azure AD
-
Maintain IAM, KMS, Secret manager, Security groups, Bucket policies, data encryption & decryption etc to secure & restrict access to functions and data in AWS production environment

Key rotation on AWS and with partners as per Medtronic security policy

Reprocess transactions in timely manner, that failed during regular interface run or based on user provided list of failed transactions/files after reconciling data.

Knowledge of cloud formation (VPC, Subnet, EC2, ASG, Peering), Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, VPN Connection, VPC Endpoint, Route53, ALB/NLB, Email service

Notify BA, Integration architect and other project stakeholders of any production issue and work with AWS support, development team to resolve and fix the issue

Maintain and update project documentation like technical specification, test report, code review

Good communication to convey production interface status, dependency, and issues

Problem solving and troubleshoot skills, collaborative to work with team to resolve and prevent issues

Conducts performance tuning, data privacy & security checks for functions and data in production.

Bachelor’s Degree
-
4+ years of IT experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years of IT experience with an advanced degree

Desired skills and working knowledge of AWS cloud services as given above .

Knowledge on GIT, CI/CD deployment, DevOps, Automation (e.g. Jenkins, JIRA) is plus

Prior experience in a large program in system integrations area especially with Middleware tools & API is preferred.
