Be part of a leading Global Healthcare company. We have an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join the ANZ Business Finance team at Medtronic. This role will collaborate closely with the Operating unit/s, commercial teams and functions across ANZ and be the liaison with International OU Finance leaders, providing financial expertise and strategic support to drive business performance and growth.


Partnering with the Neuromodulation, Pelvic Health and Ear Nose Throat Operating Units, the Finance Business Partner will play a key role in driving informed decision-making, driving operational efficiencies and financial leverage.


A Day In The Life


This role involves providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance to the OU leaders and teams to support key business initiatives, strategic planning and performance management.


Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with Operating Unit Business Leaders to ensure strategic & commercial plans developed and successfully executed across NS Portfolio Operating Units
  • Partner with Operating Unit Leaders and Sales and Marketing Leaders to ensure appropriate forecast and plans maintained and up-to-date
  • Liaise with Global OU Finance leads to ensure strategy, plans and forecasts are aligned with Global OU strategy and expectations
  • Lead Operating Unit commercial decision support, business KPI reporting and opportunity analysis
  • Partner with Strategic Accounts and Pricing Teams to ensure commercial opportunities in Operating Units fully developed and executed
  • Develop team to be best in class Business Finance Partners, with strong commercial acumen
  • Support continuous improvement projects across finance and business
  • Champion collaboration across Business Finance and play a leading role in the ANZ Finance team development


Must Haves:

  • University Degree.
  • 5-10 years relevant business / Finance experience in Multinational/ Financial planning FP&A
  • Solid knowledge & experience of business planning systems (SAP/ CMR/ PowerBI)


Nice To Have:

  • MBA or Professional finance qualification preferred
  • Healthcare experience an advantage
  • Proven track-record of Partnering with Business Leadership to deliver results
  • Strong experience leading & developing business finance teams & processes
