In this exciting role as an Engineering Program Manager within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team you will have responsibility for project management and leadership for programs supporting the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health Operating Units.  As a member of a talented team of program managers – primary responsibility will be to lead new product transition to post market, geographic expansion and product design change programs while supporting NM/PH therapies within the Mobile Platform portfolio.

Neuromodulation & Pelvic Health

Location: Rice Creek, MN

A Day in the Life 

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Accountable for overall program execution. Includes: program planning, budget and schedule creation and execution.  This will include participating in the AOP process.
  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for PLM and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders.
  • Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.
  • Problems and issues faced can be complex, difficult, and undefined requiring detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem.

Must Have (Minimum Requirements)

To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical discipline required with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Medical Product Development or Post Market Support
  • OR advance degree in Engineering or Technical discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Product Development or Post Market Support

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with Class III medical product development or post market support
  • Highly developed skill set in project leadership practices including ability to balance risk, effectively influence diverse teams, and ownership of responsibility for outcomes.
  • Excellent downward, lateral, and upward communication skills.
  • Good balance of high level strategic and detailed tactical thought processes.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading projects/programs to completion.
