The Medtronic Neuromodulation Operating Unit (OU) develops and supplies the life-changing Deep Brain Stimulation technology to treat patients with Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders. We are committed to applying clinical and economic evidence and associated service solutions to our unmatched portfolio to develop healthcare solutions that improve patient outcomes and improve clinical options for Clinicians.

A Day in the Life 
•    Provide high quality clinical support to the hospital team in the theatre department, outpatient department and potentially other clinical areas
•    Working primarily with Neurosurgical and Neurology clinical teams, and also their non-clinical colleagues, to ensure Deep Brain Stimulation procedures are performed to the highest possible standard, and services delivered with optimal efficiency
•    Responsible for defined area territory revenue targets, case coverage and support of Deep Brain Modulation procedures
•    Knowledge resource and troubleshooting contact for field sales force and customers
•    Plan and support clinical and technical training and education programs with review and input from Sales Manager and staff in the district as well as other functional groups, i.e. marketing, reimbursement, regulatory, clinical, education etc., consistent with the Brain Modulation Business Plan
•    Participate in the development of employee and customer training/education programs
•    Prepare study material and conduct training to customers (physicians, technicians and nurses) in collaboration with the Brain Modulation Team
•    Support District Sales force during presentations to customers upon request
•    Support marketing and sales in the introduction and market release of new products and therapies
•    Capture in SFDC case coverage for all accounts, market and competitive information and trends and metrics in a comprehensive, complete, and timely fashion 

Must Haves
•    Degree in Engineering, Life-science, Marketing, Business Administration or Biology or another relevant, advanced qualification
•    Previous relevant training/education experience
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team
•    Ability to work in a hospital setting
•    Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule
•    Full and clean driving license
•    Ability to interact with multi-national employees on different hierarchy levels
•    Excellent communicational skills, positive attitude
•    Fluent English, both verbally and written

Nice To Haves
•    Experience in the medical (device) industry or in a hospital environment
•    Knowledge of the competitive marketplace
