Calibration Supervisor
Must Have
Bachelors Degree with 1 year of experience in measurement science, sciences, mechanical engineering, or metrology/calibration.
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)
- Strong employee engagement practices
- Budgeting and resource planning
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in equipment calibration
- Knowledge of measurement principles: measurement uncertainty, measurement traceability, measurement standards, test uncertainty ratios, measurement system analysis (MSA), SI units, calibration intervals, and out-of-tolerance reporting.
- Experience scheduling and coordinating the work of technicians
- Familiarity with operating in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO.)
- Knowledge of lean and continuous improvement methodologies; Green Belt, Six Sigma, etc.
- Ability to work on assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
- Developing business and lab metrics
