BAS Engineering Technician
Must Have
2+ years’ experience with operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems
1+ years control systems operation and repair
Experience with Building Automation Systems design, installation, commissioning and training
Experience with CMMS computerized maintenance management systems
Must have mechanical system knowledge (HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems)
Experience with the MS Office software suite.
Nice to Have
EPA refrigeration “universal certification”
Boiler license
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
Experience with statistical process control
Ability to read and understand blue prints, shop drawings, and schematics
Self-motivated
Experience with integrated building solutions including temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management and alarming, zoned lighting control and facility access control
Tridium/Niagara Ax/N4 certification
Experience with Honeywell/Tridium Jace’s, and Spyder controllers.
Troubleshooting automation protocols like modbus, bacnet, and lonworks.
