Associate Paralegal - Medtronic Immigration Solutions Team
This position provides case processing support and database maintenance as part of the Medtronic Immigration Solutions Team’s (MIST) strategy to ensure streamlined and consistent immigration services to the greater Medtronic.
This position will reside in our Operational Headquarters office in Fridley, MN and will work per the hybrid guidelines.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
· 60% Immigration Case Management; Monitor/Docket/Electronic File Maintenance
o Monitor and update Case Management (Tracker) with case steps of incoming USCIS receipts to approvals.

- Tracker docketing and e-mail notifications to business/HR/FN
- Notify Foreign National (FN)/HR/Manager of all steps to approval
- FedEx approval to FN Process
- Notify all of I-9 requirements
- Ensure all case information is entered into Tracker
- Store all case docs in respective electronic folders
- File maintenance – ensure documentation is in corresponding physical file
- Tracker docketing and e-mail notifications to business/HR/FN

· 20% Compliance
o Monitor and maintenance compliance requirements Labor Condition Application (LCA) postings for Department of Labor (DOL) with HR to ensure posting procedures are compliant for possible DOL Audits and site visits.
o H-1B revoke letters
o PERM audit filing/Tracker docketing
· 10% Visa Stamp Appointments/Monitoring
o Monitor/Follow-up on U.S. Consulate cases; request visa stamp, I-94
· 10% Report/VLOOKUP’s
o Monthly VLOOKUP of EEID’s that may be missing in Tracker
- Bachelors degree or Paralegal Certificate
Nice to Have
- 1 year immigration experience and 2+ years legal experience minimum
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Excellent planning, organizational and problem solving skills
- Database Management Experience
- Familiarity with Immigration Law Resources
- Case management experience in INSZoom or Tracker preferred
- Experienced in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
