The Associate Account Manager is an office-based Medtronic Endoscopy lead generation position. The individual will be responsible for cultivating new business sales leads across all Medtronic Endoscopy product lines. The Associate Account Manager (AAM) will call on healthcare facilities and their primary purpose is to represent the Company and develop interest in new service lines for the facility. Additionally, the AAM is required to continually develop their clinical knowledge to serve as a product expert for the company. By doing so, they can convey information in an effective manner to help support optimal utilization of the full product portfolio to the widest range of health care providers. The AAM will work closely with our internal partners (Account Managers, Clinical Specialists, Marketing, Technical Support, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales Support) to coordinate Medtronic efforts to meet and exceed customer expectations. |
Position Responsibilities: |
|
PLAN & EXECUTE · Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual lead goals · Meet or exceed required selling activity metrics set by management · Prospect by cold-calling into hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician offices · Utilize technology to cultivate leads · Establish excellent relationships with all healthcare professionals and physicians in their territory, specifically noted, gastroenterologists, endoscopic surgeons, interventional radiologists, HPB surgeons, administrative and lab personnel where procedures are performed or influenced. · Provide solution-oriented strategies to drive new product service lines in sales territory CLINICAL EXCELLENCE
ADMINISTRATIVE
· Effectively manage pipeline via Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform · Consistently perform administrative responsibilities, such as, expense reports, sales reports, and other business requests. · Perform all online trainings within assigned timelines demonstrating proficiency. · Awareness and adherence to Medtronic code of conduct policy. |
Basic Qualifications: |

Desired/Preferred Qualifications and Competencies: |

· Inside Sales/Remote Sales experience · Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business preferred · Medical device experience · Experience working in SFDC · Experience selling in a new or changed sales channel · Strong desire to learn and grow professionally · Excellence in process management and organizational agility Established business planning and forecasting experience. |
